Texas Classic 2008
I attended the Texas Classic in Houston, TX this past weekend. It was a great competition with an increase in entries. The show was very entertaining. Kudos to Bob and Shawna for their rendition of the perfect Triple Two. It was the first comp that I had attended with the new "no warm-up music" format. It will take some adjusting. A good example is not being able to her the beginning of one of the polka's and then starting off phrase...OUCH!
On the positive side I got 3rd place Top Teacher which paid $600.00. Sweet!
