Appel Swing Party at Go Dance in Austin, TX - April 2006
I held an out of town West Coast Swing party at Go Dance http://www.godance.cc in Austin, TX which is owned and operated by the beautiful Mylie Alrich. The studio is an awesome multi-level design that is decorated extremely tasteful way.

Through out the weekend Jordan Frisbee and Tatiana Mollman http://www.jordantatianaswing.com were at Go Dance teaching workshops and private lessons. A lot of swing dancers came out from Houston to join in on the fun and learn something new from the current U.S. Open Classic Swing Champions. Then later on Saturday evening I was the DJ for the swing party. As usual attendance was great...108 people!

Then midway thru the party Jordan and Tatiana did a freestyle lead follow swing. They danced to "Taste of Dis" by Brooke Valentine. It was an absolutely awesome display of lead-follow swing. They pulled sounds out of the music that made you think they were part of the original band. Tatiana is the "Mistress of Musicality" and Jordan is Mr. Finesse. Together they are fabulous!

I played the party all the way up to 1:00am with all of the last few diehards getting in their final dances. I can't wait until I have my next party at my home away from home. It was a great party for everyone that came out.
